An ancient temple full of traps has a treasure at the very end, and you want it. Armed with your trusty whip, you'll race through the temple, avoiding dangerous pitfalls and angry temple guardians. The game has a lot of potential, had a lot during the beta as well, in both versions of the game I found myself frustrated but at least in the beta I was able to complete the game fully and could avoid traps.

Calm gives you a brief reprieve by banishing the guardian on a single floor, allowing you to focus solely on room hazards. I only recommend picking this up late in your run, especially if you plan to visit the Inferno.

Unfortunately, right now, ahead of its official release on January 25, more refining is needed until Phantom Abyss can join the ranks of the best roguelike games. This game has more than a few issues that need resolving, all of which make an already complicated game more frustrating.
